We are deeply honoured to host Mr. Man Mohan Sharma, a distinguished member of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service, whose career spans more than three decades across the Bar, the Bench, academia, mediation, arbitration, and public institutions. Sir, began his journey as a first-generation lawyer, practising independently for over a decade before entering the judicial services. Over the years, he has served in a wide range of judicial capacities including Additional District Judge, Presiding Officer of the Labour Court, Judge In-charge of the Delhi Mediation Centre, District Judge (Commercial Court), Principal Judge of the Family Court, and most recently as the Director of the Delhi Judicial Academy, where he played a pivotal role in shaping judicial training and capacity building. He has also served as a Senior Trainer with the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of the Supreme Court of India, reflecting his deep commitment to alternative dispute resolution. In addition to his judicial work, he has taught at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, worked as a Law Officer with Oriental Bank of Commerce, and continues to engage with the law as an independent practitioner, mediator, arbitrator, and mentor. With his rare 360-degree exposure to the legal system—from classrooms to courtrooms, from trial advocacy to judicial decision-making— Sir’s journey offers invaluable guidance to law students who aspire to build a career in the judiciary.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome Adv. Mahee Vohra, a dispute resolution lawyer trained in India and the UK, who is currently pursuing her LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution at Queen Mary University of London—one of the world’s leading institutions for arbitration and international dispute resolution. Ms. Vohra completed her B.A. LL.B. from Symbiosis International University and went on to work with Dentons Link Legal in their dispute resolution team, where she handled complex commercial, construction, securities, and international arbitration matters. At Queen Mary, she has specialised in areas such as international arbitration, investor–state disputes, energy and construction arbitration, and sports arbitration, while also actively engaging in legal aid and pro bono advisory work through Legal. Her journey—from Indian litigation and arbitration practice to advanced dispute resolution training in the UK—offers invaluable insights for law students considering an LL.M. abroad and a potential legal or paralegal career in the UK.

We are honoured to host Captain Himanshu Kadri, a former officer of the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Department of the Indian Army, who secured All India Rank 2 in the JAG Entry (23)—one of the most competitive legal entries into the Armed Forces. Captain Kadri is a law graduate from CHRIST University, Bengaluru, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras. During his tenure in the Indian Army, he served in key leadership roles as a Lieutenant and later as a Captain, handling critical military legal functions including disciplinary proceedings, court martial–related matters, investigations, statutory compliance, and advising commanding officers on complex legal and operational issues. With deep experience in leadership, conflict management, legal advisory, and compliance, combined with the discipline and ethos of the Armed Forces, Captain Kadri’s journey offers invaluable insights for young lawyers who aspire to serve the nation through law.

It is a pleasure to welcome Mr. Ravi Reddy Inkollu, a seasoned insurance law professional with over 12 years of experience in the general insurance sector. His expertise spans litigation, claims management, regulatory compliance, fraud investigation, and leadership roles across some of India’s leading insurance companies. Mr. Reddy is currently serving as Deputy General Manager Legal (Litigation and Claims) at Acko General Insurance, where he leads the entire litigation portfolio for South India. His work includes handling MACT claims, consumer disputes, fraud investigations, and multi jurisdictional legal strategy. Over the years, he has held key legal positions at Acko, Tata AIG, SBI General Insurance, Bajaj Allianz, Royal Sundaram, and Cholamandalam MS, giving him a rare end to end perspective on the internal functioning of insurance companies. He began his career as a practicing advocate in civil and criminal courts, which laid a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy, skills he later applied to building business aligned legal strategies within insurance organizations. Alongside his professional practice, he has consistently upgraded his expertise through certifications in risk management, motor vehicle law, insurance investigation, GDPR, data privacy, leadership, and compliance. Mr. Reddy’s journey from litigation to senior in house leadership makes him an ideal mentor for young lawyers seeking clarity on entering, surviving, and growing within the insurance sector.

It is my pleasure to introduce Advocate Himanshu Dhandharia, a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and a qualified lawyer with over seven years of experience in data privacy, information governance, and regulatory compliance. He currently serves as an Information Governance Officer at Oxford Brookes University, UK, and has previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Law & Technology at UPES, Dehradun. Mr. Dhandharia holds an LL.M. in Technology, Media & Telecom Law from Queen Mary University of London, an LL.M. in Corporate Laws from NLU Jodhpur, and an LL.B. from the University of Delhi. His unique academic and professional journey from Indian courts and classrooms to the UK’s privacy and compliance sector offers valuable insights for students aspiring to pursue international legal education and careers abroad.

Today, we have with us Mr. Utkarsh Raj, an experienced In-House Legal Counsel with a strong background in banking and finance law, arbitration, corporate law, and dispute resolution. He has worked with leading institutions such as SBI Card, HDFC Bank, and the Aditya Birla Group, and has also been associated with the Supreme Court of India. With over five years of experience navigating the complex intersection of law, finance, and compliance, he offers valuable insights into both the corporate legal landscape and the financial challenges faced by today’s youth.
